In summer 2013 students were filmed painting on-site in Rome. Austin Furtak-Cole, T.A., assisted the London film-maker Robb Horsley. The video will be posted on RAP's website in mid November.
Tristan Barlow, Carole's painting T.A. in 2012, is currently taking his Master's degree at the Slade School of Fine Art in London UK.
Yara AbdellaLatif (Rome 2013) from Egypt, visited Australia when she left Rome. She's now created a website that shows some of her Rome paintings and drawings.
Amber Martin (Rome 2013), Carole's painting T.A., took the big jump and married in October in Pennsylvania USA.
Janine Reeves (Rome 2012), a winner of the "Jack" watercolor prize, resigned from her London UK job and is planning to live and paint in Italy.
The artist Judy Lavendar (New York) has joined the Board of Directors of RAP. Judy studied at the NY Studio School and the Massachusetts College of Art, USA and her artists' residencies include the Vermont Studio Center, Vt. USA. Judy has exhibited extensively throughout America. We're delighted she'll be contributing to our forward planning for the Rome Art Program. Welcome Judy!
The artist Frederik Gutziet (New York) has joined the Board of Directors of RAP. Fred shows extensively throughout New York, nationally, and internationally. He is a professor at CUNY (New York).

With an MFA in painting from the Stony Brook University in New York, Austin Furtak-Cole will succeed Amber Martin's TA responsibilities in the month of July. More information is to come upon Austin's arrival in July. Austin is on the staff of the Vermont Studio Center, Vt. USA (artist residency program). Austin showed his work this fall at the Denise Bibro Gallery in Chelsea, New York.
